InstallationBy fuel
Bioethanol and electric versions need no chimney; every Naked Flame model still hangs on its own steel flue. Gas and wood versions vent through the roof and must be installed by a qualified installer to the building rules where you live. We will confirm what your fire needs before you order.

Hanging or pedestal
Hanging. A 180 mm ceiling bracket and 127 mm poles, extended in 250, 500 and 1,000 mm lengths, for up to 2,542 mm overall with the shell.
Pedestal. A 735 mm base plate, 932 mm tall overall with the shell.
Installation and safety
The hanging system fixes into the ceiling structure. Follow the Icon Fires manual for clearances and ventilation, keep the room at 90 m3 or more, and only refuel once the flame is out and the burner is cold.

How much heat does the Iconic 900 give?
5.5 kW from a 6.5 L burner, burning up to 10 hours a fill. Icon Fires rates it for rooms of 90 m3 or more.
Can it hang and stand?
Choose hanging or pedestal when you order. The hanging version uses a ceiling bracket and extension poles; the pedestal stands 932 mm tall.
Does it rotate?
Yes, the shell turns a full 360 degrees.
Does it need a chimney or flue?
No. It burns bioethanol, so there is no chimney, flue or gas line.
