Which fuel should I choose?
Bioethanol and electric need no chimney or gas line, so they suit most homes and apartments. Gas needs a gas supply and a licensed gasfitter. The wood version is an open-fronted fire, which is not allowed in many New Zealand urban areas, so check with your council first.
How much heat do they give?
On bioethanol, from 3 kW (Cocoon Aeris) to 5.5 kW (Iconic 900). The Naked Flame models give 3.35 to 4.4 kW.
Will it fit my ceiling?
Every Naked Flame model comes with a flat or pitched ceiling fitting, and the ceiling structure must hold 350 kg. Send us your ceiling height and pitch and we will confirm the fit.
How big a room do they need?
On bioethanol, the Naked Flame models need 80 to 110 m3 of room volume depending on the model, and the Iconic 900 needs 90 m3.
